MacKellar Group has partnered with Middlemount Coal since , providing a BIG equipment hire fleet with full maintenance service at the Middlemount Coal mine site.

  Responsibilities of this role

• Manage the day-to-day and long-term maintenance planning activities ensuring maintenance plans and schedules meet company objectives and requirements
• Ensure compliance to MacKellar CMMS/ERP work management processes
• Ensure planned maintenance and repairs are executed within time and cost parameters as per reports from the relevant systems and processes
• Build and communicate accurate weekly work schedules reflecting all work management activities, ensure that they are adequately resource levelled.

Requirements for this role include

• Trade qualified or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with post-trade experience in the mining industry
• Previous experience and demonstrated success within a similar Mining role
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or we can assist you to obtain)
• Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• A current Queensland driver licence
