We are looking for experienced QC Inspectors to join the Rio Tinto Western Range Project, located in Paraburdoo, Western Australia.

The Project

The iron ore project is a Greenfields development, involving the construction of a new run-of-mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, discharge conveyor, overland conveying circuit including transfer stations, and process and fire water tank facilities. This position will be working a 2:1 roster with opportunities for night shift. The Role

As a QC Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards on this significant project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform work in accordance with the Quality Assurance management systems procedures and work instructions.
  • Undertake general welding inspection duties.
  • Report on product and process non-conformance and product preservation.
  • Monitor the completion of quality records associated with Work Packs..
  • Ensure testing activities are carried out as per the client specifications.
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes.
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
  • Professional Qualification Minimum CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent
  • Willing to complete RIO Inductions and Face to Face Aveling training.
