In this role, you’ll:

Work with our Digital Literacy and Enablement team within the People Planning and Capability division, a specialised team responsible for the development and delivery of innovative digital literacy programs.
As the Digital Literacy and Enablement Trainer, you will design, develop and deliver engaging training programs to build digital literacy, with a focus on improving the learner experience.
 
You will work hand-in-hand with the Manager, Digital Literacy and Enablement, and the Digital Literacy & Enablement Lead providing expertise to create training materials and guides that are aligned to relevant internal policies and external regulations.
 
You will collaborate with a range of managers and stakeholders to offer guidance on operational matters and develop effective training programs that transfer technical skills to staff through both on-the-job training and off-the-job training.
This is an exciting role, joining a newly created team that plays a vital part in leading NSW TrainLink into a digitised future for training and assessment. You will contribute to operational success and ensure the continual improvements of performance and training, helping to shape a workforce that is well-equipped to leverage digital technologies effectively.
Please note, this role will require regular travel to TrainLink’s regional depots.

About you

With a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent), you have proven experience in designing and delivering training programs and digital literacy courseware, ideally for an operational workforce.
 
With exceptional communication skills, you have the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective solutions.
 
You have sound knowledge of digital trends and technologies, and you take a proactive approach to learning with a willingness to explore new technologies and learning tools.
 
You ideally bring a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
