In this role, you’ll:
Working with an experienced Project Manager, you will utilise your great stakeholder management skills to build relationships with your development partners to ensure the smooth development of works for the Pinch Points Project Development team in Western Sydney
Working across small to medium sized projects, you will work in the development phase of road and infrastructure projects, including the development of the strategic, concept and detailed design of projects.
Your strong collaboration skills with development partners including Subject Matter Experts, Design Specialists and Community Engagement consultants, as well as, councils, industry partners and additional internal stakeholders, will see you succeed in this role.
You will provide day to day support and guidance for the development of brownfield road projects ensuring compatibility with land use development and integration with other transport modes. This will include the effective delivery of projects to serve and benefit the community with regards to traffic efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness and on time delivery
Working in a close-knit and collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in project management while thriving in an environment of constantly competing priorities.
This is an 18-month fixed term role with flexible working arrangements including Wednesday and Thursday in the office an occasional site visits.
About you
You will possess a Civil Engineering degree from an Australian university or an equivalent overseas qualification acceptable for professional recognition within Australia and possess a current Australian drivers license.
You will have strong written and verbal communications skills and be able to demonstrate your experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
Your results driven mindset, partnered with your proficiency of technical support on various civil engineering (Road and Infrastructure) projects will be very well regarded.
Ideally, we would be looking for a candidate with a minimum of five years post graduate experience working in the Project Development space.
