My client designs and manufactures a range of electronic products that are used all over the world.
They are looking for a Production Planner to join their expanding business and are very open to someones product background, you do not have to come from an electronics background.
They can offer someone a broad role that can touch on various aspects of Supply Chain, so it could be an opportunity to use your existing skills and learn some new ones.
Production Planner – Role purpose:
You will report to the Head of Operations and take responsibility for leading the planning activities to ensure project and sales deadlines are achieved efficiently.
Production Planner responsibilities, skills & experience will include:

Plan and implement production schedules covering weekly and monthly time scales to ensure project and customer demands are met.
Raise, issue and maintain works orders for production and project activities. – Analyse and forecast material requirements.
Proven ability to plan and implement production schedules.
Excellent organisational skills, with a proactive and methodical approach to solving problems.
Can prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Experience in using MRP systems.
