Our magnificent community overlooks the picturesque Burleigh Golf Course. Located within the third stage of The Verge at Burleigh Retirement Village, the Care Hub is a brand-new facility that provides a genuine alternative to aged care, offering compassionate and person-centred care in a boutique and intimate environment. Catering to a maximum of 10 people at a time, the Care Hub offers 24/7 care, but it is not a traditional nursing home, and nothing like a hospital.

About The Position

Your primary focus will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services and products to RetireAustralia’s residents with assessed or identified needs. This exciting opportunity will be an integral part of developing RetireAustralia to become one of the leaders in the industry, placing our residents at the centre of everything we do. Through your compassion and understanding of the industry, you will be able to actively listen to our residents and their perspectives to build these relationships. This will allow you to use a holistic approach to meet the specialised needs of our residents.

You will have a collaborative and close working relationship with the Village Manager and collaborate across the company to provide our residents with the highest quality of care. Building and maintaining a relationship with our residents and their families is vital.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the key responsibilities for this position are:

Oversee a team of nurses and carers
Management of Care resources and budgets.
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, organisational polices and procedures.
Collaborate with the Sales team to identify leads and liaise for resident transfers.
Build rapport with local businesses, medical providers, and community groups.
Educate residents and their families on health needs, promoting self-care and independence.
Record all compliments, complaints, and concerns, and escalate as needed to protect safety, reputation, or financial performance.

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

Bachelor of Nursing.
Current registration to practice with AHPRA.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aged care.
Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care and Home Care legislation.
Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport.
National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.
